Welsh Assembly Government Employee Volunteering Scheme - Projects needed for volunteer teams

Teams at the Welsh Assembly Government are being encouraged to use one of their away days or team building days to undertake a project, which will benefit the community or the environment.

Do you have an opportunity for a team of volunteers? Teams vary in size from teams of 5 or 6 to task force events from 50 to 100 people! We are always looking for new and innovative ideas to benefit teams and benefit the community or the environment.

Some staff are on the Civil Service Fast Stream or Leadership programmes. We would like to include a community project in their development. This could give teams the opportunity to work on longer term projects, which include planning, consulting with users, designing and delivering a project. If your organisation could benefit from a team to undertake an activity, please get in touch to discuss further.
